In August, individuals like Sandra, Guy, Charlotte, Clara, some of them solo and some accompanied by family or friends, all took to the water. All of them would like to see clean and green waterways.
A team from Bigh Farming , the urban rooftop farm of the Abbatoir in Anderlecht that cultivates fish, vegetables and fruits in a closed zero-waste circuit was a suitable guest to learn more about the aquatic environment which is the canal. Floating waste should be eliminated in the future, water quality should reach the good status and plants should be added.
Two other groups from Gemeenschapscentrum Den Dam and Fedasil also joined us for a trash fishing trip.
