New kid Rodrigo already lives for a while in Molenbeek and he was wondering how he could help to make the neighbourhood cleaner. Guess who he than saw on the water of the canal? Canal It Up! Together with Esteban, who is originally from Peru and proud to be living in Brussels since 4 years, they didn’t hesitate and contacted us to join us on the water.

Naomi, member of @pool is cool is bitten by the Canal it up virus and joined us for the second time. She dreams of opening her own clothing business in which the clothes are made of recycled material. A good way to reduce waste and even giving it a purpose.

Monday was a calm day on the canal but nevertheless 6 women showed the definition of girl power. First Raphaëlle, Charline, Yseult and Marie-Alix showed what they are made of and brought home a ton of garbage.

And the same goes for Roxy and Mowgli. They were verry motivated and went to look in every nook and cranny for plastic waste.
