Thursday 17th of september Rebecca surprised her friend Virginia with a trip on the canal, with a lot of excitement, laughter and shouting as a result. After their trip I nicknamed them The ZigZag Girls.

Then Ann came to navigate with me. Together we discovered that it was the wind that made the girls zigzag! But Ann was determined to return with a full bucket. Obviously it wasn’t her first time!

Niki, Femke, Elke and Marijke came all the way from Antwerp to our capital to help us clean up its waters. A very cool gang that decided to get to know Brussels by kayak.

Jessica brought her two children, Selma and Bruno, the two youngest souls I have taken on the water. It was a pleasant and educational trip.

Finally, Nicolas and Maya came gliding over Brussels waters again. Nice people and again a nice loot.
