🌿 Each paddle stroke is a ripple of change towards a greener future. Ruth, a passionate coach, came with 12 of her Brussels students to celebrate the end of their secondary education. Each paddle stroke taken by these young individuals is a step towards a greener future, though they still have much to learn about the importance of sustainability in their future choices.

Similarly, children aged 10 to 14 were sensitized to environmental issues around waterways. Although they were too young to kayak, their attentive listening planted the seeds of environmental awareness that will hopefully grow with them.

Clarisse from Bruxelles Formation joined us with trainees. Our tip to this very sympathic and enthusiastic group would be to reduce the goodies and caps they distribute. Producing and distributing these items that are maybe used only once could negatively impact the environment.

We also thank Erik and his colleagues from AVANSA, Antje and her team from Multipraktijk ’t Ketje, Helena with members of Groen and Ecolo Molenbeek, Klee and his colleagues from Arcadis, as well as Cleo and her colleagues from Fedasil. All of them took determined paddle strokes to contribute to the protection of our waterways and strengthen their team cohesion.

Together, let’s keep paddling towards a greener and more sustainable future.
