The New Kids of a beautiful sunday afternoon.

Erna was zeer enthusiast om het kanaal te komen schoonmaken. Ze is begaan met de natuur en starte daarom met Neat & Nature, een start-up die schoonmaakproducten en zeep maakt uit natuurlijke en reeds gebruikte producten. Ze liet ons ook weten dat ze huidig op zoek zijn naar extra centjes via crowdfunding.

Ophélie et Alexandra, qui étudient assistente sociale à Bruxelles, ont attaqué le plastic en trois langues, néerlandais, français et anglais. Le plastic n’avait aucune chance.

Na hen was het de beurt aan Merel en Freya. Freya is slechtziend en heeft daarvoor haar wondermooie hond om haar bij te staan. Om te water te gaan was hij wel te bang, kajakken zat blijkbaar niet in zijn opleiding, dus bleef hij achter bij Alexandra en Ophélie. Merel en Freya gaan wel vaker op avontuur, zo doen ze elke week een cross-country track van 10 km!!

Agniezska and Maxim, who speak polish and english, took the challenge upon themselves to go all the way to the Molenbeek lock. Even knowing that strong arms are needed for that, certainly with the strong wind of that day. They succeeded and filled the bin with trash doing so.

Loïc et son ami sont les derniers, ils viennent de Arlon avec une mission!! Loïc est très impliqué a rendre la Belgique en général et la nature encore plus généralement à son droit d’être propre et de pouvoir respirer. Il propose immédiatement de barricader les ouvertures des garde-corps du pont Sainctelette, car beaucoup de déchèts s’y trouvent et volent tout simplement dans le canal! Ils voient des solutions partout.
